Week 4, not a snore

Soza threw for 204 yards and a TD to lead UTSA  ,  a CUSA newbie,  to a big conference win over UTEP. Cato’s kids (Marshall)  put up a valiant fight against VTech(ACC) before falling in OT.  Rice nearly came back in an intra-city Houston (AAC) battle. MTSU prevailed over FAU in a  fun conference battle. I added a poll last week  about Tulane and an Orange way from Syracuse (ACC)  blotted out the Green. Also LA Tech fell to Kansas (Big12), and NTex gave Georgia (SEC) a good fight for awhile.

In conference play Ball St rolled over EMI, and Toledo coasted by CMI. Most of the inter-conference play wasn’t solid, but UMass hung with Vandy (SEC) for awhile, and Akron came close against ULL (Sunbelt). Miami of Ohio was blanked 14-0 by Cincy (AAC)

Back to ULL again. The Cajuns’ lights were bright  with Broadway who  threw three touchdowns and ran for two in a win  @ Akron (MAC). Too many inter-conference losses, and WKY  win over an FCS opponent completed the Sun Belt Saturday. I guess the constant turnover in head coaches is catching up to Ark St, particularly their Offense in OOC games. Red Wolves scored 9 against Auburn two weeks ago and 7 against Memphis last Saturday
